A conservative super PAC announced that it will spend $5 million on voter outreach and advertisements to support Arizona Republican Blake Masters’ U.S. Senate campaign against Sen. Mark Kelly (D–AZ).

Natalie Allison, Politico’s first reporter, reported Monday morning that $5 million would be flooded into the race by the Sentinel Action Fund. It is a partnership between the Heritage Action for America organisation.

Jessica Anderson, the president of the super PAC and Heritage Action for America’s Executive Director, issued a statement regarding the financial commitment in a press release.

Masters, she said, “understands what the current Liberal regime is to American families” and that Kelly “represents everything wrong with America’s Last agenda of today’s Democratic party.”

This support comes as the Senate Leadership Fund, which is run by Sen. Mitch McConnell (R-KY), former chief of staff Steven Law, recently spent $18 Million in closely contested U.S. Senate elections but did not allocate funds to Masters. Masters is supported by former President Donald Trump, and is currently neck and neck with him, according to the most recent polling.
