Missed the FBI’s Press Conference on the Trump Assassination Attempt? Here’s What Really Happened

After the failed assassination of former President Donald Trump, a Pennsylvania Police official told reporters that the Secret Service was the best person to answer the question. A police official told another reporter that the Secret Service was best suited to answer these questions. Secret Service is always the first to respond to securing an event like the one in Butler, Pennsylvania. At a press conference on Saturday night, after Trump had been shot, the line went on and on. The group that could have given us some answers skipped the press conference to avoid any legal issues with investigators.

After the press conference, we only learned that “one gunman [is] tentatively Identified.” Was there more than one shooter? We were told it was too early to say. The FBI identified the assassin who was killed by the Secret Service sniper early Sunday morning. Thomas Matthew Crooks is his name. He was 20. The New York Post said he was registered Republican. The Post reported that “Sources” said Crooks had been planted on the roof of a factory more than 130 yards from the Butler Farm Show grounds.

Unfortunately, Homeland Security chief Alejandro Mayorkas was not able to take his Secret Service chief Kimberly Cheatle and get into his government vehicle, jet, or helicopter to drive to Butler, which is a four-hour ride away. He was also unable to tell the nation how former president Donald Trump was shot multiple times by an assassin.

The FBI Director Chris Wray who is in charge of investigating how the Secret Service permitted a gunman to shoot at Trump from a rooftop did not attend the press conference.

It is reported that Wray was able to fly to his vacation spot on a government-funded plane and then leave the hearing. He did this by snatching a free flight to his destination. Were we to believe that Wray couldn’t get to a press conference to explain why he was nearly killed and shot by the possible future leader of free the world?

However, we did receive a tweet regarding the “ongoing event.”

Kevin Rojek was the FBI Special Agent in charge of the Pittsburgh Office, and he led the press conference. He was able to confirm that the shooting was an assassination, which was obvious to everyone who attended the event or watched the video. At least it was something.

We then had this press conference at which we received very little information. I know what happens. Couldn’t they have described the man who was operating the rifle from a rooftop, and had been spotted by passersby before the shooting? Crooks was “on their radar”. Has he ever made threats? He was on the 10 Most Wanted List?

Trump was not the only victim. Two other men were injured, and another man was killed. Four victims. Doesn’t this meet FBI standards for a mass shooting? The assassin is now headless, so that’s five.

The authorities couldn’t say what type of gun he had used. However, they did know that it was a pistol. “I’m not being cagey,” said an investigating who was cagey.

On Saturday, we learned more about the other threats than the “incident” that was confirmed. Reporters asked Pennsylvania State Police Lieutenant Colonel George Bivens if any other threats are being investigated near the site of the attempted assassination. He said no.

I can tell you I’m aware of them, and that law enforcement has responded to several reports of suspicious activities. Law enforcement did respond to investigate several suspicious incidents in this investigation. We are not ready to confirm the process at this point unless the name is released to the media. We can’t provide any more information at this point.

Another Pennsylvania official said that there were “complicators” involved in the case, but could not be more specific than to say they got in the way.

Bivens, a reporter at the time, said: “We don’t take it for granted that this attack was committed by a lone wolf.”

When asked by a reporter if this shooting was a failure on the part of the law enforcement agencies charged with protecting Trump, the FBI Special Agent in charge responded that it wasn’t. He said that he could not make a judgment on this yet. These guys seemed to be good at finding “evidence.”

Dan Bongino is a former Secret Service Agent on the Presidential Detail. He said that the assassination attempt was a catastrophic failure by the Secret Service. He called for the immediate termination of Cheatle, a hyper-political agent.

Trump flew into New Jersey Saturday night. Trump’s Bedminster estate may be a little more secure than the hospital in Butler. Pa. at this moment.
