In one of its most bizarre tweets, the American Civil Liberties Union made one of the most ridiculous arguments for abortion support. It claimed that restricting abortion would have a disproportionate effect on Americans who are marginalized. They claimed that the practice must be preserved as a matter both of racial and economic justice.

The group’s tweet was criticized by many people who wondered why left-leaning organizations such as the ACLU wanted more black babies to be killed in the womb.
