Bill Maher, host of “Real Time”, believes that Taylor Swift’s music could “literally” swing the election in favor President Biden.

Maher opened a panel Friday night with the statement: “I hesitated to cover Taylor Swift as if it were a major national story. But I swear to God, and in all my experience, this person could literally swing an election.” “I don’t know what this says about our country, but I’d just like to say that the MAGA crowd should be careful when attacking Swift because she transcends political parties.”

“I mean, isn’t this a country girl? She was a White girl who grew up in Pennsylvania and was a country singer. Never had a Black partner- I’m only saying… She has had many boyfriends, as we know! “If MAGA is full of racists then they must love it!” Maher quipped. He said that she is dating a NFL player from a league that has 80% Black players. She couldn’t even find one?!”

He said, “I just want to say that you might get into trouble if you attack- MAGA, because Trump’s supporters are already registered and vote for him. Perhaps her voters aren’t registered at all. She doesn’t even have to tell you who she is voting for! She only has to register. They know who she’s voting for… So I think you could be a waking sleeping-until-the-afternoon giant here.”

Caitlan Flanagan, author of “Girl Land,” was more skeptical than usual about Swift’s influence on the electorate in spite of her being “an amazing young woman.”

Flanagan stated, “I don’t think I know anyone who isn’t ready to vote in this election.

Maher replied, “She could register so many people.” “That is the demographic that has not been tapped.”

Maher congratulated the singer by saying, “Go Taylor!”

Swift is expected to attend Sunday’s Super Bowl in order to support her boyfriend, Kansas City Chiefs Tight End Travis Kelce. Their relationship has been the subject of much attention throughout the NFL season.

Biden’s campaign is seeking Swift’s endorsement for the election in 2024, after Swift endorsed him previously in 2020.

Many conservatives, however, have encouraged the actress to stay out of politics. They warned that backing Biden would alienate a large swath in the country, and could tarnish the star’s brand.

Maher has grown increasingly pessimistic in his assessment of Biden’s chances to defeat former President Trump this November. He believes that he is the only Democrat who will lose.

On Friday, after the explosive report by Special Counsel Roberthur was released, he revived an analogy based on “Ruth Bader Biden”.
