Lori Lightfoot, Chicago mayor, claims that Texas Governor Greg Abbott “manufactures a human crisis” in sending 50 more migrants to Chicago on air-conditioned buses. Around 3,774 migrants illegally crossed the border from Mexico to Texas on the day that the 50 migrants arrived in Chicago.

The statement by the Chicago mayor didn’t include any alternative ideas.

Renae Eze, the spokesperson for Governor Abbott, responded by saying that “Attacking Governor Abbott’s commitment towards his faith is apathetic political ploy in order to change the conversation away Mayor Lightfoot’s unwillingness of uphold her city’s self-declared Sanctuary status.”

The real human crisis at the Texas border with Mexico is being ignored by the mayor. Nearly 4,000 illegal immigrants are crossing daily.

She didn’t mention Eagle Pass, where 13 migrants drowned at a border crossing last week.

Breitbart News reported that she also didn’t mention the humanitarian crisis in her city, where at least 46 people were killed during the Labor Day weekend.

Mayor Lightfoot criticized Gov. The local ABC affiliate reported that Abbott failed to coordinate with local officials prior to transporting migrants to Washington, D.C., New York City, Chicago.

Breitbart’s Randy Clark reported that San Antonio threatened to return migrants to the border because of the lack of coordination between federal agencies while busing thousands to cities across Texas.

The mayors of New York, Chicago, and Washington, D.C. are trying to decide how to house a few thousands migrants in a matter of weeks. Meanwhile, officials from Eagle Pass, Texas, are trying to figure out how to bury dead migrants that have been found at local ranches and riverbanks.

Breitbart Texas was informed by a U.S. Customs and Border Protection source that the Director of Memorial Funeral Home in Eagle Pass stated that his facility is out of capacity and cannot accept remains from migrants.

A local county official said that the mass burials of ten unidentified migrants had not done much to improve the overall situation. Official blamed the current spike in migrant deaths on Rio Grande ranches and ranches where migrants are being trafficked for the current situation.

Governor Abbott stated that thousands of migrants were transported to sanctuary cities by bus after the governor began the busing strategy in spring. This provided much-needed relief for Texas’s overwhelmed border communities.

More than half a million illegally entered Texas during the time Abbott sent around 10,000 migrants to these three cities.
