China Accuses Biden of Lying About Phone Call With Xi, Plus Threatens US and Taiwan

Joe Biden spent more than two hours speaking with Chinese President Xi Jinping on Thursday.

I think it’s dangerous for the United States to have Joe Biden on a long phone call with a foreign leader, especially Xi. He might be able to see the issues, and therefore the weakness of Joe Biden. The one thing you never want to project to the Chinese is weakness.

But that’s just what Biden has been doing. China has been upset about the trip that House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) has planned to Taiwan. Taiwan is our ally. Biden should tell the Chinese to pound sand. But whatever Biden said on the call, what he got back was a threat from China over Pelosi’s trip. “Those who play with fire will only get burnt,” Xi said during the call, threatening the U.S. if Pelosi went.

Biden was told by the Chinese president, ” People who play with fire will only burn, during a phone call. ”

Xi stated, “China strongly opposes Taiwan independence as well as interference from external forces.”

What Xi should have gotten from Biden was a strong statement back indicating we will not be threatened or told what to do by China, and that Pelosi can go wherever she wants to go. But instead, what the White House released indicated a milquetoast response.

The call was part of the Biden Administration’s efforts to maintain and strengthen lines of communication between America and China, responsibly manage our differences, and work together where we have mutual interests. “The call was a continuation of the conversation between the two leaders on March 18th, and a series of conversations between high-level U.S. officials and PRC officials,” said the White House in a statement. The White House released a statement saying that the presidents spoke about a variety of issues relevant to bilateral relations and other global issues. They also gave their teams instructions to keep up with today’s conversation, focusing on climate change and security. The President of the United States, Vice President Biden, stressed that Taiwan is still the focus of the United States’ policy and that it strongly opposes any unilateral attempts to alter the status quo or undermine the peace and stability in the Taiwan Strait.

Biden is being accused by the Chinese that he lied about the call.

The Chinese wish us ill and I don’t trust them for a second. But Biden also lies constantly, so we get into the position of having to decide who’s lying here. That’s on Biden because we should be able to trust what he tells us. But not only has the Biden team lied, but they have also even falsified the White House transcripts multiple times. The last time was when it falsely reflected what Joe Biden said in a presser about his conversation with Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman (MBS).

We know that Biden did not press Xi on the origins of COVID when we got this lame reply from KJP.

The origin of COVID should be at the top of every conversation with Chinese.

China is now threatening to make another attack on us. They threaten that if Pelosi continues with her trip to Taiwan, they will cross their “redline” which could lead them to take “resolute countermeasures.” The U.S. will bear all consequences.

It sounds like if they invade, they’re going to use the Pelosi trip as an excuse. It also sounds like they have sized Joe up, found him wanting, and may be ready to invade. So great job, Joe Biden, that’s one more fine mess we may now have on our plate. Can we expect any “resolute” response from Biden, or is he just going to take this lying down too?
