Republican Florida Governor. Ron DeSantis announced Tuesday that he was petitioning Florida’s Supreme Court to establish a grand jury for Moderna and Pfizer.

DeSantis made the announcement Tuesday morning at a COVID-19 MRNA Vaccine Accountability Roundtable. Roundtable participants included Florida Surgeon General Joseph Ladapo and other experts such as Dr. Jay Bhattacharya and Dr. Martin Kulldorff.

DeSantis said that it was against Florida law to mislead and misrepresent the effectiveness of a drug. ”

DeSantis announced the formation of a Public Health Integrity Committee with Kulldorff and Bhattacharya, as well as Bret Weinstein and Bret Weinstein.

He said that he expected grand jury petition approval. He would like to “legally hold the people responsible for misconduct accountable.”

DeSantis stated that the move was not uncommon, citing legal actions against states involved in the opioid crisis.

Roundtable participants and panelists discussed side effects of vaccination. Moderna and Pfizer were also criticised by many speakers for their lack of transparency.

Experts still believe that vaccines are safe. There have been some reports of severe side effects and death.

Pfizer responded to DeSantis’s announcement by sending an email to The Daily Caller. The landmark phase 3 clinical trial was included in this announcement. Pfizer stated that real-world data adds to the clinical trials data and provides additional evidence that vaccines protect against severe diseases. ”
