Did Joe Biden Lie? Special Counsel Investigates Discrepancies in His Political Origin Story

Joe Biden lied to Robert Hur, then Special Counsel at the time about his long-promised political origin story. A new report suggests that it is likely.

When asked by Hur in October 2023 about the illegal storage and taking of classified documents, President Biden decided to reveal the only time he “lied.” Biden said that as a young attorney, he defended a company against an employee who “lost a part of his genitals and one of his testicles.”

According to the story, the president did such a great job at his position that he wrote a “memo” which got the case dismissed. The president then felt guilty and turned to public service to help the poor, not because he wanted fame, power, or fortune.

Biden was just out of law school when, according to his account, he was hired to defend a construction firm sued by a welder, aged 23, who had “lost a part of his genitals and one of his testicles” in a fire which broke out while he was inside a chimney of a Delaware City factory. Biden’s clever legal defense for the construction company won the case.

“I wrote this memo. And son of a b—, it prevailed,” Biden told Hur on Oct. 8. “And I looked over at that kid…and I thought, ‘son of a b—, I’m in the wrong business, I’m not made for this.’”

Biden claimed he felt so guilty that he made up an excuse to avoid having lunch with a partner of the firm and went to the office of the public defender to ask for a position that day. Biden told Hur that it was “the only lie I’ve ever told.”

Biden’s claim that this incident was the only lie he has ever told in his life is hilarious. There are far too many falsehoods in the president’s life to count.

What’s wrong with this particular story? According to the Free Beacon investigation, this story is “almost certainly” false.

This story is most likely a work of fiction.

Biden worked at a firm that was hired to defend a building company in a negligence lawsuit like the one Hur described, but the case ended in 1968 while Biden still attended law school. The welder was awarded $315,000, which would have been more than $ 2.8 million in 2024.

Biden has told that story for decades and there is ample evidence to prove he has lied the entire time. The president seems to have intervened in a case his law firm lost when he was still a law student. The welder in that case won a large judgment. Biden may be referring to a single other case, but there are no public records and the firm would not confirm that he was involved. Details of the injuries also don’t match what the president described.

Biden has embellished his past for as long as he has been in politics. I have compared him with Forrest Gump because he claims to be present at every major historical event. President Obama is a plagiarist, and it’s not just college papers. Does anything in his life story happen?
