The New York Post surprised everyone on Friday by endorsing Donald Trump as the next President of the United States.
The Post called Trump, using the image of Trump, just after he was nearly assassinated. Trump is seen pumping his fists in the air, shouting “fight” under the American flag.
The first words of the endorsement are not a mess:
This election is one of the most important in the history of our nation.
It will be a decision that will have long-lasting repercussions for Americans in the future.
You must select the following:
- A secure border and a sensible immigration system.
- Safer cities and support for law and order.
- A thriving, low-tax, and low-regulation economy for all — fueled by an energy policy that supports, not penalizes, industry and households.
- Common-sense policies restore the power of parents to choose what is best for their children on school choice, gender surgery, and trans athletes playing in female sports.
- An America that’s respected on the world stage — feared by our enemies and trusted by our allies.
Only one candidate can credibly claim to lead us there.
There is only one credible candidate who can lead us to this destination.
Donald Trump
The article goes on to state that we can compare the two last administrations and ask ourselves if we are better off today than four years ago.
The Post acknowledges that Trump is “ridiculously over-the-top” at times and that it’s reasonable to find him offensive. However, the results he achieved before COVID-19 are undeniable.
Before COVID caused havoc around the world, Trump’s first term results included paychecks that increased faster than inflation. He also had the lowest unemployment rate in 50 years. There was also a secure border, and peace abroad.
The book recounts how when Joe Biden became president, the country made a “hard right turn with disastrous results” and was plunged into the problems that Americans are facing, such as rapidly rising inflation rates, illegal immigrants flooding the country, increasing crime and “culture battles over DEI or gender identity,” which “set neighbor against neighbor.”
The condemned also the “disgraceful weaponization” of the justice system, as well as two assassination efforts that resulted “from the all-too-familiar constant barrage of media attacks against him.”
It launched into a harsh denunciation of Harris to make its point:
Kamala Harris, meanwhile, has been rightly criticized for being a political lightweight who is underqualified because she refuses to almost any question regarding the past four years or to reveal any details of future policy plans.
It’s also possible that she is afraid of the American public finding out about her radical plans because they would be scared off.
A close look at her record reveals that she is a San Francisco-based progressive.
If Harris wins, she will not only adopt Bidenism, but also accelerate the progressive storm tearing through the fabric of American society.
The Post correctly predicts that if Harris is elected, she will make inflation worse and increase our debt. She will also kill jobs. The Post also pointed out that Harris cosponsored the radical leftist Green New Deal while bragging about her war against oil on her website.
They also note that Trump’s “drill baby drill” strategy for oil is to maximize America’s energy independence. He has also rolled back regulations and reduced taxes for employees while reducing the burden on business. It also says that Trump treated Iran as the villain, pulled out from the bad Iran Deal, and murdered Qassem Solimani.
The end was this:
This November, we are all feeling the weight of our burden.
Trump and Harris both want us to go down different paths, so the decision is not only stark but also vital.
Donald Trump is the best choice.
The Post is right. It is clear who is the best choice.
Donald Trump, an experienced businessman who has proven skills to lead us into a better future, is more of a radical leftist. People who support Harris have no good feelings about this country. Trump, on the other hand, represents pride and a desire for America to thrive.
The difference could not be more evident. Tucker Carlson said in his Georgia speech that the Democrat Party had abused America, and its people and treated them as a group to be controlled. They’ve shown this by their words and actions.
This is an amazing endorsement and it comes from the heart of New York.
