The co-host of ‘The Breakfast Club’ had criticized the president’s six-month tenure, stating that he wouldn’t grant the president a satisfactory rating, citing the One Big Beautiful Bill as a point of contention.
President Trump, in a response on Truth Social, labeled McKelvey as a “low IQ” individual and a “racist sleazebag”, challenging his knowledge of the President’s achievements, including the ending of multiple wars and economic milestones. McKelvey had previously pointed out that “the least of us are still being impacted the worst”.
According to reliable sources, McKelvey also spoke favorably of Kamala Harris, the Democratic presidential nominee defeated by Trump in the November election. He suggested that many of Harris’s predictions about Trump’s presidency were coming true, though without elaborating on specifics. The radio host further suggested that the unfolding Jeffrey Epstein saga might serve as a pivotal moment within the Republican party, asserting that “the MAGA base isn’t letting this issue go”.
This development follows earlier reports that McKelvey believes traditional conservatives are poised to reclaim the Republican Party. “I think this Epstein thing is going to be a way for traditional conservatives to take their party back, I do,” he told Lara Trump.
The President also took exception to McKelvey’s use of the moniker ‘Charlamagne Tha God’. He questioned the appropriateness of McKelvey’s use of the word ‘God’ in his pseudonym, asking how people would react if he, President Trump, were to do the same.
