Washington, D.C. has been affected by the tragedy in Gaza more than any other news story from Gaza so far.

World Central Kitchen (WCK), a non-profit organization that offers food assistance in disaster-stricken areas and war zones, announced that seven of their aid workers had been killed by an Israel Defense Forces strike on April 1st.

Erin Gore, CEO of World Central Kitchen, said the following in an announcement:

I’m heartbroken and horrified that World Central Kitchen, and the rest of the world, lost beautiful lives today. They will be remembered for their love of feeding people and their determination to prove that humanity is above all.

According to the aid agency, the IDF is “conducting an in-depth investigation at the highest level to understand the circumstances surrounding this tragic incident.”

The deaths of aid workers led to condemnations of Israel by governments all over the world. This included an “outraged Joe Biden” who released a statement in which he said he was “heartbroken,” before launching yet another attack on the Jewish state.

This is not an isolated incident. The number of aid workers killed in this conflict is one of the highest in recent history. It is because Israel did not do enough to protect the aid workers who were trying to provide desperately needed aid to Gaza’s civilians that it has been difficult to distribute humanitarian aid.

Incidences such as yesterday’s should never happen. Israel has not done enough to safeguard civilians. The United States has repeatedly asked Israel to separate its military operations against Hamas from humanitarian operations to prevent civilian casualties.

Kate Bedingfield, former White House Communications Director for Biden had a very different view on the Israeli strike compared to her Democratic comrades.

Bedingfield, a CNN commentator, said that the strike had been “good” for the Biden administration.

Just think about it for a moment.

Bedingfield rationalized in a depraved manner, during an appearance on CNN “CNN This Morning”, on Tuesday, how a horrible, unintentional protest by aid workers would be a positive thing for Biden. Biden continues to put Israeli Prime Minister Bibi Netanyahu under the bus whenever he can.

Each instance of this kind of horror allows the Biden administration to contrast what they are trying to achieve, what they claim they’re doing responsibly in the area, with what Netanyahu is unwilling to do. I think it is good for them.

Think about it again.

Bedingfield may have later tried to justify her remarks, but I don’t know if that was the case. She meant what she said, even if it wasn’t as clear as she intended.

Bedingfield repeated the observation twice but with slightly different words each time.

“This is a very sensitive issue for the Biden administration.” “The more distance they can maintain between themselves and Bibi Netanyahu the better it will be for them.”

Kasie Hunt, CNN’s host, used the opportunity to “starve” Gaza’s people.

I don’t watch CNN or MSNBC but I know that both of these hopelessly biased clown cars were equally horrified by the Hamas attack on October 7, which left more than 1300 Israeli men, women, and children dead, many of whom had been tortured and sexually abused.
