It’s clear that his deceptions about his past, including his (mostly fake) family history, have made it clear that believing any claim by Rep. George Santos (R-NY), is a surefire way of setting one up for disappointment.

Although there have been some left-wing complaints about Santos, they are not unfounded. However, the majority of his criticisms from bipartisan critics have been for following Joe Biden on the “make it up” front. House Speaker Kevin McCarthy (R. Calif.) is trying to figure out how to deal with him and the House GOP Steering Committee recommends him for a few committee assignments.

On Thursday, Santos used Twitter to deny something he had never claimed. It was a Substack report by a left-wing journalist that said that Santos was once a drag show performer in Brazil.

Although only true believers would be able to believe Santos at this point, The New York Post wrote a detailed article about the development.

A video has been released that shows George Santos, a lying Long Island Rep, boasting about his performance as a drag queen at Rio de Janeiro. This despite the fact that he claimed Thursday morning that he had never done such a thing.

This video shows Santos in black with sunglasses and speaking Portuguese to an interviewer during the 2005 Pride parade in Niteroi, Rio.

“I do presentations in Jacarepagua at 1940, I do Cascadura and I also did Cabaret casanova in Gloria,” Santos said, naming the well-known drag clubs around the city.

Santos praises the parade’s organization and says: “The event was good, well-organized. It’s a great event.

Joao Fraga replies to Santos that it’s better to be with the crowd. He then says, “Yes, these are the lovelies,” before reaching for the man beside him.

Here’s the video:

A Reuters reporter wrote about the allegations and also posted a video in which they claim Santos is wearing drag.

Another source for the claims regarding Santos’ past as a drag queen posted photos to her Instagram showing Santos in a woman’s clothes. The photo to the right is quite similar to Santos.

Drag queens have been in the news for the past few months, after their sexually-charged performances in “family-friendly” shows and drag show story hours where children were present were shared online. However, conservatives joked that Santos would be elevated in certain circles if he had actually been a drag Queen.

Former Gov. Christina Pushaw, Ron DeSantis’ press secretary, laughed in her response.

She has a point.
