What would an administration do differently if it wanted to cause chaos at the border, make fuel almost unaffordable, create a crime wave and spark 1970s hyperinflation?
Is Biden malicious, incompetent, or just a wannabe left-wing ideologue, then?
Biden reacts to questions about inflation and fuel price rises by either blaming someone or something, getting mad at the questioner, or claiming that former President Donald Trump was responsible.
According to his administration, things are moving according to plan and seem to be going well.
His team believes that the American people have been brainwashed, or they have not provided enough propaganda to counter it. They don’t compromise or pivot, but they are determined to continue failing.
Why? Biden sees success in what many people consider to be disasters.
Consider the border or its disappearance.
In American history, an administration has never simply canceled immigration laws and opened the border to allow millions of illegal aliens in. All arrived illegally and were not subject to any audit or required vaccinations.
The United States is now flooded with lethal drugs imported by cartels. We don’t know how many terrorists cross the border every day.
Nearly all of the millions who violate the law are poor and without a high school diploma or English skills. They also need massive federal and state housing subsidies, food, legal and education subsidies, as well as huge amounts of government and state health and welfare assistance.
Are Washington’s leftists imagining that millions of new, dependent residents will look to Washington for decades of support and then find ways to return the favor at the polls? Are Democrats blatantly tribalist in their desire to change the demographics of the electorate?
Steven Chu, former President Barack Obama’s energy secretary-designate, once made a joke during the 2008 campaign. He openly wished that U.S. gasoline prices would reach European levels.
The Left believes that high fuel prices are the only way to reach their goals of disengaging driving and forcing middle-class Americans to take trains and buses to get around, rather than living in suburban ranch-style homes and driving carbon-spewing vehicles.
This is why Biden canceled new federal oil and natural gas leases during the current energy crisis. Why else would he refuse to complete the Keystone XL pipeline in California or reopen Alaskan oilfields when diesel is now $7 a gallon?
Officially, inflation continues to rise above 8% per year. It is more than double what consumers pay for food, fuel, building materials, rent, and other essentials of daily life.
What was the Biden Administration expecting from maintaining real interest rates near zero and printing trillions of US dollars when supplies were scarce and demand was high?
Did it believe inflation spreads wealth more fairly? Is it necessary to launch new attacks on “corporate greed”? Does it require more federal intervention and socialist policies?
This left-wing administration may not see inflation as “bad” even though it is for many.
Violent crime is rising to levels of the 1970s. Combining defunding police, radical city or county prosecutors who don’t charge or lock up criminals, and emptying prisons and jails has sparked a national crime wave.
The Biden Administration shrugs. It does not offer federal assistance to increase the police force or free criminals from prison under federal statutes.
Is it more socially right to release criminals than to incarcerate them?
Is it willing to accept “critical legal theory” that laws don’t reflect old ideas of right or wrong but are instead “constructed” by those privileged to oppress the oppressed?
Are Americans embracing dangerous crime as tough social karma by Biden zealots?
Americans are sick of the new woke tribalism. Judgment of individuals based on their skin color, race, gender, or appearance is amoral and against the U.S. Constitution.
It destroys all notions of meritocracy and divides the country artificially between victims and victimizers.
But, do the Biden folks see it that way too?
Or do they encourage racial tensions, tribalism, and revolutionary fervor?
The Bidenites encourage identity politics to stir up the pot, demonize oppressors, and deify those who are oppressed, all in the name of maintaining political power. Living in a socialist country controlled by an elite is much better than living in a free, prosperous nation that answers only to the people.
Public opinion believes that the Biden Administration has failed America. This is due to incompetence, belligerence, or left-wing zealotry.
Biden and his delusional staff seem to be delighted with the results.
In sum, what Americans see as an abject catastrophe, they cheer on as a stunning and planned success.
