A recent report claims that Israel has a plan to flush out terrorists by pumping seawater into the tunnels.

US officials told the Wall Street Journal the Israel Defense Forces have assembled at least five pumping systems that could be used within a few short weeks to remove water from the Mediterranean Sea and flush the tunnels.

According to the newspaper, around the middle of last month, the military completed the system that was built about one mile north of the Al-Shati Refugee Camp.

The pumps are capable of moving up to 800 tunnels an hour. This allows Hamas to move easily around Gaza without being noticed.

U.S. The WSJ reported that officials from the U.S. did not know whether Israel was close to deciding to take this action. There are reports now that the action has already begun. Videos of water being pumped in the tunnels are circulating on X.

The IDF could flush out terrorists, make the tunnels inoperable, and not kill hostages. Terrorists would have to work harder if their tunnel hideouts were removed. This might be a better option than blowing up tunnels.

The images show Hamas trapped in a tube after Hamas opened the pipes.

Israel has not confirmed this action. Egypt had flooded some tunnels in the past. The video showing the actual flooding of the tunnels could be an old one.

But many noted the karma of such an action, given that Hamas had named the attack on Israel on Oct. 7 “Operation al Aqsa Flood.” How appropriate that they would be flooded out, exposed, and hopefully decimated by such an action. Also, it makes one think of how the pro-Hamas chant is “from the river to the sea” and they might be meeting the sea up close. A little more karma for wiping them out.
