Vice President Kamala Harris recently used social media to urge all Americans to work hard for a better country.
This was a repeat of a message she sent in late 2020 to her voters. It comes as voters question whether she is up to the task she has been given, even though she insists that “there is nothing about the job that is supposed be easy.”
Harris was clearly able to convey her message, even though she was still in Los Angeles on holiday. “A new year for building a better America. Let’s get started.
Harris used social media in November 2020 to encourage effort from both the country and President Joe Biden. Her message was the same on that occasion. “This election is more than just @JoeBiden and me. It’s about America’s soul and our willingness to fight for that. There is a lot more work ahead. Let’s get started.”
Harris is currently on vacation in Los Angeles with her husband Doug Emhoff. She is expected back in D.C. this week.
Harris also reached out to Silicon Valley and Wall Street CEOs for their advice on how to address the porous southern border, and stop the flow of illegal immigrants that is fast defining her tenure.
