The Democrat Party Twitter/X page released a video on Tuesday that they called “Vice President Kamala’s message to her supporters.”

The video was probably created to boost morale among Democrats who had been deflated, demoralized, and in some cases even frighteningly deranged after Donald Trump’s election day defeat.

Harris, a tired-looking Harris, said emphatically: “Don’t let anyone take your power away from you.” “You still have the same amount of power as before November 5th.”

“And you have the same purpose that you did,” she said. “And you have the same ability to engage and inspire. So don’t let anybody or any circumstance take your power from you.”

Harris’ appearance in the video was also the subject of discussion. Some people thought it looked as if she had been drinking, while others posted comparison photos showing her before and after she lost her second presidential bid.

After watching the video, I knew what I wanted:

Day after day, people continued to talk about the video and how cruel her handlers were to let it be broadcast to the public when she had already left the country.

There was also the possibility of:

It could have been a way of putting down rumors that Harris hadn’t ruled out running in 2028 (language warning).

All of this may have some truth. There were many reports during her Vice-Presidential term quoting her former employees who had worked for her as California’s Attorney General and then, later, as their Senator. They talked about how awful she was to be around and what a diva she was. This pattern continued, according to the readers, when she became Vice President.

I believe that people from both sides of the political spectrum would agree that politics can age people unmercifully. I saw photos of George W. Bush before and after he became president, as well as Barack Obama. It reminded me of the fact that public office is not for the weak-hearted.

I can imagine that there must be countless sleepless nights, tossing around and turning in bed with decisions that are sometimes made that could potentially cost lives.

Harris, who was Biden’s border czar, presided over a staggering amount of open border chaos where criminal elements made it into the United States. Some were involved in the rapes and murders of children and adults alike, including Georgia nursing student Laken Riley. As Biden’s Border Czar, she oversaw a shocking amount of border chaos, where criminal elements were able to enter the United States. Some of these criminals were involved in raping and murdering children and adults, including Georgia nursing students Laken Riley and Laken Thomas.

I’m not a cruel person. Wasn’t raised by my mama to be that way. So while I have no sympathy for Harris considering all that was said and done over the last four years and beyond that, what she said and did as a U.S. Senator, I do understand on some level what it’s like to have regrets about deeply consequential decisions that didn’t go the way I wanted them to go.

Harris is probably weighing in on all of the above, and on everything that went wrong during what was supposed to be an unstoppable presidential campaign. The introspection she has done may convince her to abandon the idea of running for president a third time in 2028.
