Leaked Video Suggests D.C. Cops Had Involvement as Rioters During J-6 Protest

Leaked video footage shows at least one Washington, D.C., police officer – and probably more – acting on January 6, as apparent agents provocateurs, dressing up as protesters, climbing scaffolding outside of the Capitol Building, urging protesters towards the iconic building.

Congressman Barry Loudermilk, R-Ga., says that the authenticated GoPro footage raises questions about why the police officers who were identified by the video as intelligence officers were working to stir the crowd instead of stopping an attack on the Capitol.

The unidentified officer with the camera in the video said to another that he believed the plan was to trap people inside the Capitol Building. The undercover officer’s observation leads to the conclusion that the police were aware of a planned attack on the Capitol, and they let the attackers do it while taking pictures.

The officer who had the GoPro told another officer, on video, that it was dangerous when he saw people climbing up the scaffolding. Someone is going to be shot. A third alleged police officer stated, “They are not going to shoot anyone.” They encouraged and even participated in this dangerous activity.

The officers joined the protesters in chanting “Whose house?” as they made their way to the scaffolding. “Our house!”

Loudermilk told the “Just the News, No Noise TV” show, “We know that it is one of their officers and at one point he is encouraging, and it appears he’s encouraging. He’s definitely helping people climb the scaffolding, and he’s telling them ‘go, go, go.’”

The congressman asked, “Why was an officer encouraging people to climb the scaffolding to go into the Capitol?” He also inquired “Why did the MPD Metropolitan police support department decide that undercover officers would be in the crowd?” Did they have any intelligence they could not or did not pass on to Capitol Police? What happened to that evidence if it was received by Capitol Police?

Trump’s administration offered the National Guard to help with Capitol Police after intelligence reports indicated that trouble could be brewing. The Capitol Police chiefs, former Speaker Nancy Pelosi, and D.C. Mayor Muriel Bowser turned down the request to have a military presence. Capitol Police numbers were not increased to prevent entry, nor was the exterior of the Capitol Building hardened.

Just the News reported on a court case that occurred in January involving William Pope and Michael Pope. The video was revealed. According to a court filing, a defendant requested a copy of it, and federal prosecutors worried that the video would be out of their hands.

The specific footage, a GoPro video recorded by an MPD Police Officer who was stationed at the Capitol in an evidence-gathering capacity, captures the officer shouting words to the effect of “Go! Go! Go!” (MPD-005-000035 at time stamp 2:37), “Go! Go! Go!” (MPD-005-000035 at the time stamp 7:23), and “Keeping going! Keep going!” (MPD-005-000035 at the time stamp 8:16) apparently to the individuals in front of him on the balustrade of the U.S. Capitol’s northwest staircase around 2:15 p.m. At other times in these videos, the officer and the two other plainclothes officers with him appear to join the crowd around them in various chants, including “drain the swamp,” “U.S.A.! U.S.A.! U.S.A.!”, and “whose house? Our house!”

The irony is also seen in the video when a person identified by the police as a protester warns the officers to be cautious because Antifa provocation was present among the crowd.

Although Antifa members were visible in the crowd, on video, and even on the January 6 Committee, they tried to suppress any mention of the Leftist mob’s involvement. It’s true that if Antifa had not been there, this might have been a rare event, given the fact that a violent Left-wing mob, along with their BLM allies, closed roads, rioted, and burned down “President’s Church”, only months earlier in D.C.

Federal prosecutors claimed that the video was irrelevant to the Pope’s cases. The prosecutors worried that, while the video was not relevant to the case at hand, it could be useful in other cases, either for the prosecution or the defense.

The American public has a right to know whether their institutions, police, and politicians are being honest with them regarding January 6. The video, and the attempt to hide it from the public, seem very shady. They want us to believe them. After watching these charlatans in the executive offices of the FBI, and DOJ, we’re no longer able to trust them.

The congressman sent a request to law enforcement for additional information on police presence in the J6 crowd that day in 2021.
