Elon Musk has said that the fact that Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-Ky.) appeared to freeze during a press conference with other Republican Leaders on Wednesday should be enough for a constitutional change.
Musk, the owner of Twitter and several other companies posted a tweet early Thursday morning saying, “We require a constitutional amendment.” “This is crazy.”
This comment was made in response to a user who had posted a video showing McConnell speaking with a group before stopping abruptly, staring blankly at the group, and standing still for a short time. McConnell was escorted away from the podium by a Republican colleague who broke his apparent trance.

McConnell then left the room, but returned moments later for the rest of his press conference and to take questions from reporters.
McConnell returned to the office and said, “I’m fine.”
In his absence, Republican Whip Senator John Thune (R-S.D.) and others spoke to the media. Thune, 62, is the second-highest-ranking Republican in the chamber.
McConnell’s aide stated that McConnell “felt lightheaded” and took a break for a few moments. He returned to the Q&A, which everyone noted was sharp.
McConnell, who is 81 years old, was concussed earlier this year after he fell at a Washington hotel. In the same incident, he also fractured his rib.
