Leftists have an old saying: If you don’t win the argument, shout it louder. You can lose a debate based on facts if you don’t use logic. Get angry. Scream and throw anything, no matter how true it is.
I just made that up, but I keep seeing it, whether I am arguing with an idiotic progressive or reading the media of today.
The New York Times is no longer the paper to record your puppy’s movements. To all but the most fawning leftist cultists, the New York Times is now the paper for recording the movement of your new puppy. But they are so agitated, so frothing, lately, that someone approved this mockery:
Bravo, @nytimes 👏🏼 pic.twitter.com/IhZ22S6jsN

If you are stupid enough to subscribe (which some of us have to do, unfortunately), the editorial page will be accompanied by a dark background. I assume they didn’t use that ink for the print edition because it would have cost a fortune.
This is not journalism or, as it was once called, “yellow Journalism.” It’s straight-up fear-mongering and violence-inciting propagandist propaganda, from the paper that used to be known as “the newspaper of record.”
This is the @nytimes Editorial Board’s contribution to civil discourse today.
With a black background, massive fonts, red text, and fear-mongering language.

Before you assume that this was just a random columnist spewing this venom be aware that the Editorial Board printed this manifesto.
Donald Trump has detailed the disturbing and dangerous actions he promises to take if elected president.
In his rallies, he makes a constant stream of threats and promises — like prosecuting political rivals and using military force against U.S. Citizens. These statements are so outlandish and outrageous, and so directly in conflict with American democratic norms and values that they can’t be considered anything other than empty bluster.
Two words to the American voter: believe him.
We do not believe Joe Biden or Kamala Harris who, since their first day in office, have “prosecuted political opponents”. Where has the Times been with these stories? While sipping cocktails, we blithely ignore the weaponization of the Department of Justice.
Some of their arguments border on parody
Mr. Trump’s 2016 promises during his first presidential campaign turned out to be an excellent roadmap for his policies and priorities.
The policies he promised as president and then implemented were indeed pretty good. We had a booming economy, no foreign wars, virtually zero inflation, and a secured border. You’re not hearing me?
Keep inciting violence, Grey Lady.
He says that he will deploy the military to fight his political enemies. He said that he would instruct the Justice Department to prosecute critics. He claims that he’ll mobilize the National Guard to deport illegal immigrants.
Americans should believe him
Hamas was savagely killing Israeli citizens when he was President. No. Did crime in New York reach a level where people were afraid to go to their local CVS or walk through the streets? Did the DOJ bring charges against those who criticized him? Joe Biden, your president. You told us he was in perfect health, but you lied to us about his apparent mental decline.
You don’t seem to have shame in your vocabulary. Instead, it would help if you were wallowing yourself in pig offal.
You may be wondering who cares about what the NY Times has to say. I have said it before and I will say it again: we must continue to expose the corrupt, Marxist press because just because you don’t, doesn’t mean others don’t. They do. They are real. I live in Los Angeles but am originally from New York.
We can make a difference by continuing to expose their lies, propaganda, and incitement to violence and hatred.
Look at the polls.
We all have to do our part to ensure that the November 5 poll is one to remember.
