Two police officers were shocked when they saw a woman passed out in a McDonald’s drive-through after using heroin, with a baby in the backseat.

Marietta Police released a video to WSB-TV that showed two officers who were emotionally affected by the incident in Cobb County, Georgia.

One of the officers in the video said, “This breaks my damn heart brother.” “Dude, this is the first time I’ve ever seen anything like this.”

The employees at McDonald’s called 911 to report a woman who passed out.

A dispatcher was told by an employee that the woman “was clearly high on something.” “She was still inside, and the child was just looking.”

The officers are seen in the video attempting to awaken the woman and also reassuring her 1-year-old son.

The arrest warrant details the reasons why police believe she is intoxicated.

The police officer wrote: “[She] was unable to form sentences, she had trouble forming long words and had admitted, under Miranda, that she had ‘used heroin’ approximately 15 hours earlier.” She was also having difficulty staying awake during the entire encounter.

Later, the woman was identified as Kelsey Warren. The child was assessed and then handed over to the state.

Chuck McPhilamy, a Marietta Police Officer, told WSB the officers discovered a syringe inside the vehicle. One of the officers was seen holding the syringe in the air on the video. He also said that cocaine was found in the vehicle.

Warren is facing a number of charges including possession of a controlled drug, possession of cocaine, and contributing toward the delinquency of a minor.

McPhilamy stated that it is not an uncommon occurrence.

He said, “Unfortunately, we receive these calls more than once a week.” “Not daily, but multiple times per week. “It’s usually at an intersection.”
