Tucker Carlson interviewed for two hours with Russian President Vladimir Putin. Carlson was criticized by the mainstream media and politicians such as Adam Schiff for interviewing Putin.

Putin said to Russian News Agency TASS, that Carlson is a dangerous person. Putin claimed that Tucker had not asked questions in the manner the Russian President expected.

The interview is available at Carlson’s site, as well as on X.

Carlson didn’t interrupt Putin very often. He let him answer the questions, while Russia’s president spent an hour on a history lesson about Russia and Europe.

The post on X received more than one million likes, and the interview has been viewed over 200,000,000 times. This is another example of X as the new media.

After the interview, Putin referred to Carlson as a “dangerous individual.”

I believe that Carlson is dangerous (when I use the word ‘your,’ I mean he’s a journalist).

The Russian President went on to say that he had prepared Tucker for an aggressive style of questioning.

Putin “imagined that he [Carlson] behaved aggressively and would ask what he called sharp questions.”

Not only was I ready for it, but I also wanted it, as I would have the opportunity to respond similarly, giving our conversation a special flavor. He chose a different tactic, trying to interrupt me multiple times. However, surprising for a Western reporter, he was still patient and listened to all of my speeches, particularly those that were related to history.

During an interview with TASS Putin revealed that he preferred the U.S. to re-elect former President Donald Trump over President Biden.

Carlson discussed his interview with Putin at the World Governments Summit and explained why he decided to interview the Russian president.

I wanted to talk with Putin because the U.S. government is at war, but not in an official way.

Tucker was asked at the summit if Putin would be open to a compromise.

Putin wants out of the war. The longer the war continues, the less he will be willing to negotiate. In the past two years, we have learned that Russia’s industry is much more powerful than we had thought. I’ve heard U.S. government officials say that we will have to simply return Crimea to Ukraine. That’s unlikely to happen without a nuclear conflict. That’s insane.

This is Tucker’s entire segment from the World Governments Summit.
