James Comer, chairman of the House Oversight and Government Accountability Committee from Kentucky, called out Yoel Roth, ex-Twitter Head for Trust and Safety’s tweets slamming Republicans at a Wednesday hearing.

Roth was responsible for removing tweets that he felt violated the rules of the social media giant. He met regularly with federal officials to discuss “disinformation”, and “foreign interference” at the site. Soon after assuming control of Twitter, Elon Musk, the new owner, fired Roth. Roth, Vijaya Gadde (ex-Twitter attorney) and James Baker (ex-Twitter attorneys) were responsible for the censorship of the initial Hunter Biden laptop story in the New York Post. Roth later admitted that the mistake was made.

“Twitter executives were hostile to conservatives and biased against anyone who disagreed with their views. Comer asked Mr. Roth, “Did you write this tweet?” He showed a Tweet where Roth claimed that former President Donald Trump was a Nazi.

Roth replied, “I regret the language I used in some my previous Tweets, but, no, I did post that.”

“Mr. Comer asked Roth: “Mr.

Roth replied, “Certainly not sir.”
