While Democrat leaders insist on keeping abortion legal and the sexualization of children legalized, there are real problems in the world. China is one of these problems. It continues its soft power invasion against foreign countries using money and influence to control.

China has been preying on South American and African poor countries for decades, trapping them in bad deals that give up land and sovereignty. However, the CCP has larger plans: The United States.

Fox News interviewed Gov. Ron DeSantis recently attacked China’s recent purchase of US farmland. He called it a “huge issue.”

Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis criticized China for buying large amounts of property in Florida. He told, “The Ingraham Angle”, that he signed legislation to limit what he considered “undue influence by rogue states” such as the Chinese Communist Party.

Laura Ingraham, a host and reported on the growing concern about China purchasing American real estate, particularly in the residential and agricultural sectors.

DeSantis stated that he didn’t believe they should be allowed to do so. “I believe the problem is that these companies have ties with the CCP. It’s not always obvious on the surface of what a company does — but it’s a big problem,” DeSantis said.

DeSantis stated that Tallahassee banned Chinese Confucius Institutes, which he claimed allowed CCP influence and propagandism into the higher education system.

If a nation wants to survive, it must not allow its enemies to purchase it piece by piece. This is not a matter of domestic, traditional free markets. These markets stop at the country’s borders. This is not to say that international trade and markets should be prohibited, but it does mean that when US national security may be at risk, this takes precedence over any misguided, globalist principle that China should have the right to freely invest in US markets.

The Florida move to end the practice must be replicated in other states. However, federal action will eventually be taken. Unfortunately, Washington, DC’s establishment is too afraid to take action against China, or too closely tied to the communist country.

DeSantis also criticized Rachel Levine (the much-lauded HHS official who is transgender) for her recent comments encouraging “gender-affirming care”.

DeSantis stated that the term was a “euphemism” that refers to forcing sex on patients and that there is no evidence that it is effective medical care.

We know that parents do this when their children have serious problems. We believe this is inappropriate in Florida. DeSantis stated that doctors shouldn’t be licensed if they are performing it. He also suggested that patients should sue physicians who perform the surgeries hailed as Levine.

Many Republicans fall for the trap of confirming what they don’t like when discussing this topic. DeSantis isn’t interested in that. He insists that such “transitions” of children (including surgery) are harmful and should be banned. Most people would agree. I don’t believe doctors have the right to perform any procedure they wish. Any doctor who mutilates a child must be held responsible. Personally, I believe criminally. But, that’s not a rail the GOP is willing to touch.

DeSantis’ approach towards the Chinese and transgender lobby is not just about talking. He works to pass legislation that addresses the problem. Already, the press is expressing outrage at the Florida governor’s attempt to ban transition care.

To quote one Star Wars production that was a success under the Disney regime: “This is the way.” Forget talking. It’s not enough to just have the libs. It’s important to take action to get results.
