TJ Maxx Goes Viral on Twitter as Customer Stops Brazen Shoplifter

We’ve seen videos of thieves, sometimes in mobs, walking into stores and filling their bags with the items they intend to steal. The thieves then walk out of the same store, while employees and security guards watch. They may have been instructed by higher-ups not to intervene or they might feel it is not worth the risk because the perpetrators are unlikely to face any consequences.

This type of criminal activity is common in blue states such as California, thanks to “reform-minded”, woke District Attorneys that think prosecuting these crimes would be a waste.

In light of all that, let’s look at a TJ Maxx store in Mira Loma that was attacked Sunday by two women who, according to video, tried to flee the store carrying bags of goods that they had allegedly not paid for.

One of the women managed to escape the store with the stolen goods, but another was not as lucky.

A video of the incident shows that a woman confronted the second woman as she tried to leave. The scuffle escalated until the shoplifter attempted to become the victim. Another customer took the bags from her as she tried to break away from the original customer. She was able, at one point, to grab her bags after yelling out “Let me go” and trying to leave the store again. However, the bags were taken from her by another customer as she left the shop.

You can hear some people in the background saying “Take her down” and “Have you no shame?” to the alleged shoplifter while others say “Let her go.”

TJ Maxx has been trending on Twitter for the past few days. The majority of social media users seem to be applauding this intervention by customers.

Some people tried to bring up the race card in the discussion, but they forgot that two women, regardless of their skin color, were trying to steal things that weren’t theirs.

I understand that these videos are satisfying in some ways, as people are sick of watching criminals get away with doing the same thing over and over.

Because stores are afraid of lawsuits and letting the perp off the hook they won’t take any aggressive action. This will lead to more random customers getting involved. My concern is that this could eventually result in a violent and deadly outcome.

As a result, law-abiding citizens have lost faith in the justice system and are more likely to take action when they witness someone breaking the law. It’s one thing to see someone punished for theft or similar crimes. But it’s another to have someone seriously injured or killed.

This problem can be solved in two ways: First, retail chains must step up and hire more security guards. Second, they need to allow them to follow the suspects rather than letting them go. Second, woke DAs must be replaced with law-and-order types so that crimes are prosecuted fully and the offenders learn their lesson.

We all love to see citizens trying to correct a wrong. But security guards and police officers, prosecutors, and prisons are all there for a purpose. Unfortunately, this system is so broken that many people feel they have to take matters into their own hands.

In this case, one of the women was forced to leave the store without the items she had tried to steal. Next time, however, the story could end differently.
