Some of the J6 protestors are still in prison Others are in isolation. Some prominent Democrats have reacted furiously.

Politico reported last year:

Although most of the 300+ persons accused of taking part in the Jan. 6 Capitol riot were released, many others who were considered dangerous, flight-risk, or at high risk of obstructing justice were ordered to remain without bond. According to jail officials, all Capitol detainees will be given so-called restrictive housing. According to jail officials, this was necessary to ensure their safety and that of other prisoners.

In the Politico report, Sen. Elizabeth Warren (D-Mass.) was quoted as saying: “Solitary confinement is a form of punishment that is cruel and psychologically damaging. And we’re talking about people who haven’t been convicted of anything yet.”

If Trump wins and if he continues to pardon those who were involved in the January 6 Capitol protests. Yahoo News reports that at most 903 people have been charged as of August 31.

This video shows Trump’s views on the subject.

In the same interview, the 45th president suggested that he was financially supporting the January 6 protesters. However, he did not say this.

Trump stated, “I am financially supporting individuals who are amazing, and actually they were in my office two days ago so I’m very much within their mind”.

Trump’s offer to pardon the Jan 6 protesters and the revelations that Trump may have financially supported some of them (presumably for legal costs) sent TDS-stricken media professionals into a frenzy.

Trump must win the election. There’s still plenty of time before 2024.
