Donald Trump traveled to Paris this weekend to attend the reopening ceremony of Notre Dame Cathedral after it was almost completely destroyed by fire last year. Joe Biden, the official acting U.S. President, was apparently too busy to attend, as he only sent his wife Jill to the event.

Trump has now spoken about his interactions with world leaders, and it’s fascinating.

Donald Trump, the President-elect of the United States, said that Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky was ready for “peace.” He also spoke about meeting with other world leaders and Jill Biden during his visit to Paris for Notre Dame’s reopening.

The incoming President revealed details Sunday of his conversations on his first overseas trip since winning a new term. This included a trilateral meeting with French President Emmanuel Macron and Zelensky.

“He wants to make peace,” Trump told The Post in a phone interview. “That’s new.”

He added, “He wants a ceasefire.” “He wants peace.” We did not discuss the details. Putin should also think it’s the right time. He’s lost 700,000 people. It won’t end until there is peace.”

If true, that would be a huge development. Perhaps Zelensky realizes that the endless Joe Biden money train is about to come to a stop.

The internet was ablaze with Trump’s interaction between First Lady Jill Biden and the President.

Trump claimed that despite all the “Hitlerian’ rhetoric during the campaign, the relationship between them was quite friendly.

Trump also said that the side-chat with Jill Biden, the first lady of the United States, inside the cathedral was a positive experience, despite the fact that they have a long history of hurling insults at each other in the past two election cycles.

Trump described their conversation as “very nice.”

“It’s politics. “You have to get used to it,” he said of their past political spats. “She was very pleasant and we had a nice conversation.”

Trump may be changing his ways. He is known for being a combative and aggressive politician, not afraid to mock those who oppose him. He praised Emmanuel Macron of France, with whom he had sparred in the past.

“I said NATO was good as long they paid their bills. But they gotta do that because when I first got involved in NATO, nobody paid. And then they paid once I got involved,” said the president-elect.

Trump said Macron agreed with him. He’s a nice man and he did an excellent job. I told him that he had no idea what a great job he did in the chapel. It’s a very difficult thing to do. Painstaking.”

Donald Trump is the new leader of the United States as Incredible Shrinking Joe Biden fades into the background. Back in the day, my wife and I used to argue; I would ask “Why does he use such bellicose language?” She would reply that it’s because of his personality and ability to fight against the “New World Order.”

I understood her argument, but I think that Trump 2.0 is fundamentally a different person than when he first climbed the Golden Escalator. He hasn’t lost any of his fights, but he is aware of the dark forces that he faces and is ready to face them this time. The people he has chosen to be in his administration are a clear indication of that.

The time is near, and it cannot come soon enough.
