President Joe Biden pardoned Hunter and absolved him of all crimes committed between “January 1, 2014. through December 1, 2024.” This effectively let him off the hook for any gun charges that he was found guilty of and the tax evasion charge he admitted to. He also got off the hook for any international deals he may have benefited from illegally with China or Ukrainian gas giant Burisma.
Hunter’s attorneys released a 52-page public statement on Sunday, which read like a “Dear Father, please help me; I messed up” letter.
Donald Trump, the president-elect, has weighed in and is not impressed. Justice for you, but not me? He seemed to be saying
That’s a helluva question.
As many of us had predicted, Biden reneged on his promise to pardon his child despite repeatedly insisting that he wouldn’t. Trump’s chief spokesperson blasted both the move and corruption of justice during the Biden-Harris administration:
Steven Cheung, the new White House Communications Chief for Trump, said that “the failed witch hunts” against President Trump had proven the Democrat-controlled DOJ as well as other radical prosecutors guilty of weaponizing justice.
“That system must be fixed, and due process for all Americans must be restored. That is exactly what President Trump will be doing as he returns with an overwhelming mandate of the American people to the White House.”
This sweeping pardon essentially says “No consequences for you kid.”
Both Hunter and Biden complained about the politicization in their 52-page letters. It is almost unfathomable, given that the mentally declining President has overseen what we can call the most politicized DOJ in history, one which relentlessly and often without basis, pursues political opponents.
Liar, liar pants on fire.
James Comer, the House Oversight Chair (R-KY), has issued a blistering declaration. He has relentlessly investigated the Biden Crime Family.
In a press release, Oversight Chair James Comer said that Joe Biden had lied about his family’s corrupt activities. “Joe Biden has falsely claimed he never met his son’s business associates in foreign countries and that his son committed no crimes, but he has also lied by saying he wouldn’t pardon Hunter Biden.”
Comer’s (R-Ky.) panel also found that the commander-in-chief abused his authority to perpetuate an “influence-peddling ring” within the Biden crime family and obstructed the investigation. Unfortunately, President Biden and the Biden Crime Family continue to try to avoid accountability, rather than admitting to their decades-long wrongdoing.
Joe’s legacy of corruption, failure, and swindling is now over. In years to come, we’ll be reading about this in history books.
The 20th of January cannot come fast enough.
