Tulsi Gabbard, the Director of National Intelligence, reportedly acknowledged the possibility of life beyond our planet in a recent podcast interview. Her role, overseeing 18 U.S. intelligence agencies, positions her as President Donald Trump’s primary intelligence advisor.

Speaking on the New York Post’s “Pod Force One”, Gabbard was asked by host Miranda Devine if she believes in the existence of extraterrestrial beings. To this, Gabbard responded affirmatively, yet chose to remain cautious about divulging any further information. She said, “In this role, I have to be careful with what I share.”

This development follows earlier reports that Gabbard’s team plans to be forthcoming with the public about the topic in the future. “We’re continuing to look for the truth and share that truth with the American people,” she assured. However, the specifics of what that truth might entail were not elaborated upon.

The conversation also touched upon a series of drone sightings over New Jersey last year, a phenomenon that has yet to be fully explained. Gabbard expressed her uncertainties, acknowledging she had “a lot” of unanswered questions, despite official explanations attributing the sightings to authorized aircraft of varying types.

Gabbard mentioned the U.S. intelligence community’s classified information on an alleged Chinese spy balloon. This balloon, which traveled extensively across the United States in 2023, was eventually shot down over South Carolina waters by then-President Joe Biden’s orders. Once again, Gabbard declined to elaborate on the details known by the intelligence community.

Director of National Intelligence Tulsi Gabbard believes in the possibility of extraterrestrial life and promises transparency on the issue in the future. Yet, her reticence on specifics leaves many questions unanswered.
