Ukraine Funding Soars: 75 Times More Than U.S. Border Wall in Senate Bill

The Senate’s bill allocates only $650 million to build a border wall on the US/Mexico border while Ukraine receives $48 billion in tax dollars from the United States.

Sens. James Lankford and Chris Murphy, along with Kyrsten Sinema, negotiated the bill. By providing Ukraine with nearly $50 billion in tax dollars to defend their border from Russian invasion.

Accordingly to Lankford’s bill, only $650 million will be spent on “building and enhancing miles and miles” border wall. The funding provided is likely to only allow for a few dozen mile border fence.

An unprecedented number of American adults support border barriers as a way to prevent illegal immigration and drug trafficking.

In the past year, a record number of Americans registered to vote (4/7), or 57 percent of them, supported the construction of border walls. This included 62% of white voters and 49% of Hispanics, as well as 58% of those who earn less than $50,000.
