Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy arrived at the White House on Monday afternoon for a meeting with President Donald Trump and several European and U.S. leaders.
Zelenskyy, dressed in a black ensemble including trousers, a buttoned-up shirt, and a jacket, arrived at approximately 1:15 p.m. ET and was greeted by Trump.
The summit follows last Friday’s meeting between Trump and Russian President Vladimir Putin in Alaska, which did not include several prominent European leaders. Monday’s gathering in Washington brings together European officials seeking to discuss Ukraine’s security and broader concerns about potential escalation from Moscow.
