Drunk Middle School Teacher Arrested Mid-Class

It must be one of the hardest jobs to be a teacher. Especially if you are in charge of Gen Z teenagers. One might not blame an educator for taking a sip from a flask during a short break in between classes to calm down the frayed edges on their nerves.

In any educational institution, it is not acceptable to teach a STEM class in a middle school while chugging a bunch of wine coolers. It didn’t deter a Californian STEM teacher (that’s a surprise) from teaching at Robert O. Townsend Jr. High School in Chino Hills while intoxicated.

According to TheBlaze, a San Bernardino County sheriff’s deputy received a call at 11:20 a.m. on Thursday from the school. Deputies arrived on the scene and quickly confirmed that Clifford Harper, 49, was drunk. They then arrested him and removed him from the school grounds. He was taken to West Valley Detention Center, where he was booked. The teacher of a middle school is facing possible charges of public intoxication and child endangerment.

People wonder why homeschooling has become so popular in recent years.

Progressives are indoctrinating children with sexual perversions, and trying to normalize acts of deviance that require psychological treatment. Every time your child leaves the house, you clench your teeth in fear of an active shooter. You’re worried that your child will be bullied. You have to be on the lookout for drunken teachers.

Parents received a letter not long after Harper had made the perp leave the school, and go into infamy. It revealed that he was given a few days of administrative leave as law enforcement officials investigated this incident.

TheBlaze has more to offer:

A video of the outside of the school shows a banner proudly announcing that it was a “California Distinguished School”. Harper, from Rancho Cucamonga, teaches STEM classes and an introduction class to technology. His instruction includes the use of woodshop equipment and machines.

One of Harper’s former students spoke to KTLA-TV about her shock at the allegations.

Hanna Vanpelt said, “That was so unexpected. I didn’t expect it at all.” Even my sister has him right now for the third period. It’s scary. “Why is he doing this?”

Harper is a “fantastic” teacher who has a passion for teaching, according to other students and parents interviewed by KTTV-TV.

Harper may be dealing with some serious issues in his personal life, which no one knows about. Divorce, bad breakups, loss of loved ones — all of these things can lead to poor decisions. But that is not an excuse to put kids in danger by being drunk on the job.

Reports revealed that Harper was eventually released by the authorities. Harper is a teacher with a long-established career, having worked for the Chino Valley Unified Schools District for over ten years.

Whatever the cause of Harper’s bad behavior, let’s hope he receives the help he requires to improve and can salvage something from his teaching career.
