Former New York City Mayor Rudy Giuliani has been released from the hospital after being briefly hospitalized due to a motor vehicle accident in New Hampshire.

In a statement shared on X, Giuliani said he is recovering well and thanked supporters for their concern. The statement noted that his vehicle was rear-ended shortly after he and his business associate, Ted Goodman, stopped to assist someone in need.
“Mayor Giuliani is recovering well following a motor vehicle accident in which his car was struck from behind,” the statement read. “He has since been discharged from the hospital and deeply appreciates the well-wishes and prayers he has received. The mayor also extends his gratitude to the New Hampshire State Police, paramedics, Elliot Hospital, and all of the physicians and nurses who provided him with outstanding care.”

According to reports, emergency responders arrived quickly at the scene, and Giuliani was transported to Elliot Hospital in Manchester as a precaution. While specific details about his injuries were not fully disclosed, associates indicated he experienced soreness consistent with whiplash and minor bruising. Doctors cleared him for discharge after evaluation.
Giuliani expressed appreciation for the support from medical personnel, first responders, and his followers. His team also confirmed that he plans to continue his regular livestream broadcasts, which provide commentary on legal and political topics.
