Chuck Grassley, R-IA, has released the unclassified FD-1023 which “alleges that then VP Biden was involved in a criminal bribery plan.”

Chuck Grassley, R-Iowa, released today an FBI-generated unclassified record describing a criminal scheme involving Joe Biden at the time and a Ukrainian executive. Grassley obtained the record (FD-1023) through legally protected disclosures made by Justice Department whistleblowers.
“For more than a year I have been pressing the Justice Department and FBI for details about their handling of the very serious allegations made by a trusted FBI agent implicating the then Vice President Biden in criminal bribery schemes. The FBI tried to redact and obfuscate, but the American public can now read the document without any filter from politicians or bureaucrats. What did the Justice Department do with all the information contained in this document? Why did they try to hide it for so long from Congress and Americans? The Justice Department has failed to be honest, but I and Chairman Comer will find out what happened,” Grassley stated.
The FBI’s Biden Bribery Records are in line with the evidence found by the Oversight Committee during its investigation into the influence peddling of the Biden family. The FBI record shows that the Burisma executive claimed that he did not pay the “big guy” directly, but instead used multiple bank accounts to hide the money. James Comer, chairman of the House Committee on Oversight and Accountability said that this sounds a lot like the Bidens’ business practices: using multiple accounts to conceal the source and amount of money. At our hearing with IRS Whistleblowers, they testified they had never heard or seen this record during Biden’s criminal investigation, even though they had potentially corroborated evidence. The American people should be able to read the record themselves, given the misbehavior and politicization of the Department of Justice. I thank Senator Grassley, for bringing much-needed transparency to the American public. We must hold the Department of Justice responsible for trying to bury this document to protect the Bidens.

The FBI’s confidential source claims that executives of Burisma, a Ukrainian gas company, appointed Hunter Biden to its board in order to “protect us from all sorts of problems through his father.” At the same time, Burisma faced a corruption probe in Ukraine led by the then-Ukraine prosecutor general Viktor Shokin. Burisma’s CEO Mykola Zlochevsky said that the investigation would not affect its plans to do business in North America.

Zlochevsky claims to have numerous text messages and recordings which show that he had been forced into paying the Bidens in order to get Shokin fired. He claimed to have recorded two conversations with Joe Biden, and 15 with Hunter Biden. Zlochevsky kept two documents as proof of the agreement, which are presumably financial records. He said, however, that he did not send any money directly to “Big Guy”, a term used to refer to Joe Biden. In communications regarding other Biden business deals, independent of the Burisma deal, references to the “Big Guy’ appeared. Zlochevsky said it would take 10 years for investigators to discover the illicit payments made to the Bidens.
