House Committee Releases Bombshell Transcripts Alleging Pentagon Ignored Trump’s Jan 6th National Guard Request

The left has made several untrue statements and accusations about the events that took place on Jan. 6, at the Capitol. Former House Speaker Nancy Pelosi and the corrupt J6 Committee have spread the most misinformation.

Donald Trump is accused of knowing violence was coming but doing nothing to stop it. Narratively, he never asked for the National Guard. He didn’t care about what happened.

Barry Loudermilk, R-GA, Chairman of the Committee on House Administration Subcommittee on Oversight, has a very different opinion, but he is backed up by newly released transcripts. Loudermilk claimed in a Friday press release that the Pentagon leadership ignored Trump’s request:

Loudermilk, Chairman of the Board said, “Pentagon leaders prioritized concerns about optics above their duty to protect life. President Trump spoke with senior Pentagon officials and instructed them to ensure that any events taking place on January 6, 2020, were safe. This is a very serious matter that Senior Pentagon officials ignored the guidance of President Trump AND misled Congressional Leaders into believing they were performing their duties when they weren’t. The DoD IG report is flawed. The report does not draw any conclusions from the interviews, but instead pushes an agenda to keep its hands clean. We have a lot of questions for them and will keep digging until we’re satisfied that the American people know the truth.”

The transcripts are shocking. We knew some of it before, but they’re still startling. The transcripts are shocking. They tell the president to get off his chair.

Mark Milley, then-chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, recalled that, on January 3, 2021 – three days before protests – the commander-in-chief said he wanted “a safe event.”

MILLEY: The President said, “Hey look at that. On the 6th, there will be many protesters. “Make sure you have enough National Guard or soldiers to ensure a safe event.”

[POTUS] “Hey I don’t mind if you use Soldiers or Guards. Do whatever you need to do.” “Just make sure it’s safe.”

Milley did not meet his boss’s demands. We all know what happened.

Christopher Miller, the then-acting secretary of defense, made even more shocking comments. He also recalled that the former president asked for troops, but assumed it to be “presidential bluster.” Are you kidding?

[On January 6, 2020] I was told that everyone had listened to the president’s speech. I thought, “The guy talks for 90 minutes as if it’s Castro.” I have work to do.

Bias, much? What’s the point of mocking a commander-in-chief when you serve under him? Disgusting. He admitted outright that he would do whatever he wanted to do, regardless of what was said to him:

There was no way – I would never put U.S. forces in the Capitol.

The Pentagon was more concerned about “optics”, than the safety of people, according to the then-Chief Steven Sund.

[When Sund requested help]…the representative of the Secretary of the Army stated, “I do not like the optics that the National Guard is standing in a row with the Capitol as a backdrop.”

Unbelievable. It’s amazing to see their hubris, their defiance and their disrespect for their commander. These transcripts seem to show that Trump, not only anticipated violence but also tried to prevent it.
