It’s not surprising that opinions are mixed about why Donald Trump won the presidential election on Tuesday with such a decisive win over Democratic presidential nominee Kamala Harris.
There are many different opinions on “how this happened”. The question is coming from both shocked Democrats and media personalities who, no doubt, felt confident going into Election Day that their mixture of lawfare as well as demonization of former President Obama as the “next Hitler”, would be his downfall.
The tactics did not work out as planned. Trump crushed the Harris-Walz ticket by winning more than enough electoral votes and the popular vote. This was a blow to the left who had been arguing that we should make presidential elections popular vote contests.
When Democrats lose their way, they don’t look inward but instead blame their opponents and those around them. They believe the problem lies with others, not themselves.
The elitists of his party are wrong to think that the far-leftists play right into the hands of shrewd Republicans like Trump. This is what led to the resounding GOP wins we witnessed on Tuesday night, thanks in part, to voters who had enough of Woke, Inc.
Donald Trump’s greatest friend is the extreme left. The far-left has alienated a historic number of Latinos and Blacks from the Democratic Party, as well as Asians and Jews, with slogans like “Latinx” or “From the River To the Sea.”
It is better to pander to the far left than to try to win over their support. The far left is more representative than the real life of Twitter, Twitch, and TikTok. The far left’s ivory-tower nonsense is not being bought by the working class.
Torres also addressed other important issues, but he hit the nail right on the head with some of the most significant ones that are causing Democrat Party members to leave in large numbers.
It’s not that I wish Democrats would learn from their losses, and I don’t worry that they’ll ever do so, but it is refreshing to see a few semi-sane voices still around, voices who may decide one day that enough is enough and move over to the other side where the “Garbage coalition” keeps growing.
