The liberal elites are at it again, this time, literally putting our democracy on ice! A federal judge, yes, a Clinton appointee, no surprises there, has issued an order restricting the Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE) from accessing federal databases. Why? Because she thinks they’ve ‘violated the law and bypassed cybersecurity practices.’ Listen to that, the Democrats worrying about cybersecurity! Isn’t that rich?
This judge, Denise Cote, granted a preliminary injunction in a lawsuit brought by the American Federation of Government Employees and unions! And they’re trying to prevent DOGE from accessing databases with records on federal employees.
After Trump’s inauguration, OPM granted broad access to the DOGE, even though no ‘credible need’ for this access had been demonstrated. I mean, who needs efficiency in government, right? And in typical liberal fashion, Judge Cote bleated about the invasion of privacy, from social security numbers to health care information. Sounds like she’s more concerned with protecting the privacy of government employees than ensuring an efficient government.

The judge ruled that DOGE ‘disclosed OPM records to individuals who had no legal right of access to those records.’ Isn’t it interesting that the liberals only care about ‘legal rights’ when it fits their narrative? She calls it a ‘breach of law and trust.’ This, coming from someone appointed by the Clintons!
She criticized the Trump administration’s defense in the case, stating that ‘The Government has defended this lawsuit by repeatedly invoking a mantra that it adhered to all established procedures and safeguards. It did not.’ This is a clear example of the Democrats weaponizing the court system against conservative values.
These liberal elites care more about protecting their own than ensuring an efficient government.
