The media will declare Kamala Harris as the winner, no matter what happened, and they are already on their way to the races. It was inevitable.

The former president Donald Trump had to deal not only with one opponent but also with hostile moderators. It was probably expected that ABC wouldn’t be fair.

Trump was the biggest laugher of the evening when he dropped on her line about “I’m speaking now.” She made faces at him, looking weird and childish.

Kamala didn’t respond to any questions and lied the entire time. People will be able to tell if she lied based on the facts.

Laura Ingraham spotted one sign Harris was concerned despite media efforts to spin her story. They asked for a second debate.

Ingraham stated, “If she asks for another debate they do not think she won the debate.”

She added that if they did so, they would say, “Mic Drop, we’re Done.” They don’t believe that she is in a good position to win the race right now.

Trump declared victory after he said this in the spin-room following the debate.

He said: “She wants it because she lost.” He said that he was not sure he had to and perhaps “if it was a fair channel” he might. It all comes down to what he told Hannity: “We have the most effective policy; she doesn’t.”

I wonder if Harris’ team looks at her internals and focus groups, and thinks she hasn’t achieved what she wanted to. That’s what I believe. They knew the polls were going to Trump and could see Nate Silver’s forecast. Even with the moderators’ help, they don’t believe she did enough.

Over the next few weeks, we’ll see how this affects the market.
