Rep. Alexandria Ocasio Cortez hosted a Queens Town Hall on Saturday night. The event was quite heated. Despite the district’s hard leftist leanings, participants held up critical signs and heckled the “squad members” on several hot-button issues, including illegal immigration and transgender ideology.

Rep. Alexandria Ocasio Cortez (D-NY) was booed off stage during a New York City town hall by attendees who were frustrated by the Democrat’s position on the looming debt ceiling issue, the border crisis, and the millions of dollars being funneled to Ukraine.
The Squad’s member was repeatedly yelled and abused by the hecklers who said she did not put America first.
A man holding a small American flag shouted, “American citizens before migrants” as he approached AOC. Where do you stand on this issue? You’re a piece of s—.
At the Queens Town Hall, many people held signs that read “AOC: an obvious criminal” and “AOC- stop pushing drag queen story hour.”
One person asked the U.S. if they would do anything to stop the war, suggesting that Russia was on the verge of a nuclear crisis. She voted in favor of sending over $100 billion to Ukraine, and she also supported the idea of removing the debt ceiling.
She danced awkwardly while the crowd cheered, “AOC has to go”.
The hecklers were removed by security. Ocasio-Cortez is a woman that usually lives in a bubble. It’s interesting to watch her face public criticism. Democrats are playing with fire when they ignore their constituents in favor of special interest groups.
Ocasio-Cortez faces backlash as well from her left wing. They are not passive and will react if they feel she isn’t able to deliver on the promises she makes. I don’t believe she can do it. Time will tell.
