You can now watch the video of Jack Douglas Teixeira, 21, being taken into custody at his Massachusetts residence.

Merrick Garland, the U.S. Attorney General, gave a short statement to the media identifying the suspect in the case as Jack Douglas Teixeira, 21 years old.

Original Story

In connection to the March leaked classified documents, an arrest was made. They were discovered online via Discord servers in March. According to reports, the arrested individual is a 21-year-old Air National Guardsman from Massachusetts National Guard. After law enforcement officers arrived at a North Dighton home in Massachusetts on Thursday afternoon, the arrest was made.

Fox News:

Fox News reports that FBI agents made an arrest as part of their investigation into leaks of classified documents. The bureau is now focusing on a Massachusetts Air National Guardsman.

A Massachusetts location was visited by police vehicles believed to be linked with the guardsman. Fox News obtained an internal document from the government that showed that the guardsman’s security clearance was revoked and that he no longer had access to classified government systems.

Further details:

According to the New York Times, and other media outlets, the man is a member of the 102nd Intelligence Wing Massachusetts Air National Guard. He was also involved in a private online group called Thugshaker Central.

Fox News Digital contacted the 102nd Intelligence Wing about the matter and they also declined to comment to the Justice Department or FBI.

The Washington Post published a long article on Wednesday evening that covered an interview with a teenager who claimed to have been a friend via Discord. It is no surprise that authorities were able to identify the alleged leaker based on the information available in the interview.

This is still a developing story. We will share more details as they become available.
