The media and the left have given a negative spin to the attempted assassination of former President Donald Trump.

Jacqueline Marsaw’s take, who was reported to be a staffer of Rep. Bennie Thompson, (D-MS), is one of the worst. She posted a meme that said, “I do not condone violence but please get some shooting lessons so that you don’t miss next time, oops, that wasn’t me.” She implied that Trump’s gunman shouldn’t have missed:

Thompson released a statement following the understandable uproar over the staffer’s meme.

He said, “I became aware of an article written by a member of staff and she no longer works for me.”

People on the left made a lot of comments along the lines of “Sorry that he missed.” The left instilled this into Trump by trying to turn him into Hitler.

Bennie Thompson is now trying to escape from Marsaw’s horrible comment. It’s too late given his previous actions.

Thompson was a key player in the demonization of Trump. He was the chairman of the Jan. 6 Committee which had as its goal to try to get Trump. He also attempted to remove Trump’s Secret Service Protection in April with legislation, which we reported on, if he were convicted of a crime.

Thompson is in a panic. He posted this on X, saying that there was no place for political violence and that he was “glad Trump was safe” and that his “thoughts, prayers, and good wishes go out to all involved”.

People didn’t buy it. Many people called him out on X:

Donald Trump Jr. painted a stark picture, stating that if Thompson had gotten his wish, his father’s death would have been imminent. He urged people to not forget what Thompson tried to accomplish:

Exactly. We will not forget.
