Biden Administration Weighs Additional Billions for Iran

One would think at this point that the Biden Administration is either the stupidest administration ever or they are deliberately trying to harm the United States.

In October, they came under fire for releasing $6 billion to Iran. Many viewed this as helping Israel’s enemies since they would be able to spend the money they received on other things.

You’d think they would have learned from their criticism.

You wouldn’t have known about the Biden team, which never seems to admit or learn from their mistakes.

The report that the administration is considering giving more money to Iran even after Hamas’ attack on Israel is shocking.

According to a recent report cited by Townhall from Free Beacon the Biden team may approve a waiver of sanctions that would allow Iran access to $10 billion in funds frozen in Iraq.

The waiver extends the multi-billion dollar sanctions relief that was first issued in July and expires tomorrow. The waiver allows Iraq to transfer electricity payments frozen in Europe or Oman into Iranian bank accounts. The renewal of the waiver renews concerns that the Biden Administration is continuing to provide financial avenues for Tehran while its terrorist proxies cause chaos in the Middle East.

Richard Goldberg, who was a former member of the White House National Security Council and a sanctions expert, told The Washington Free Beacon that the world has moved on from the October 7 attack, but the White House still adheres to the Oct. 6 policy towards Iran. He was referring to the Hamas attack of last month. Why should Iran be able to access more than $10 billion when it sponsored one of the most horrific terrorist attacks on American citizens and the largest massacre of Jews in history? It would be more sensible to freeze these accounts, and keep all the money out of Tehran’s hand.”

It is despite the fact that Iranian proxy forces have attacked U.S. forces and assets at least 52 different times since October 17th.

What’s the obsession with giving money to our enemies and arming them?

Matt Miller, spokesperson for the State Department, was asked to comment on it during Monday’s press briefing.

Miller refused to answer the question.

What he does not do is to deny or say “That’s absurd, no way.”

This is a good indication that it’s likely to be true.
