Katie Britt is a Massachusetts senator who calls President Biden to solve the border crisis after the State of the Union address.

Katie Britt of the Republican Party of Alabama did not mince words in her response to President Biden’s State of the Union address on Thursday evening. She criticized him for his “despicable” handling of the border crisis, and his promotion of “Bidenomics” despite the rising consumer costs in American households.

Britt is 42 and a rising star for the GOP. Even some Democrats praised her choice to deliver the rebuttal. She is building her national profile, despite never being elected before the midterm elections in 2022.

Britt began her remarks with a reference to Biden’s age and years of experience as a politician. She called his speech “the performance of a politician who has been in office for longer than me”.

Britt is worried that her children may be unable to achieve their American Dreams.

“The American Dream has become a nightmare for some families. Our families are suffering. She said, “Our country could do better”.

Britt started by criticizing Biden’s policies. She concentrated on the border crisis, which has seen an unprecedented amount of migrants entering the U.S.

“President Biden inherits a border that is the safest in history. He suspended all deportations minutes after taking office and stopped the construction of the fence. She also announced an amnesty program for millions.

She went on to talk about the brutality and violence of cartels who attack migrants crossing the border, as well as the tragic death of Laken Riley which was allegedly the result of an illegal immigrant.

President Joe Biden will deliver a State of the Union address at the US Capitol in Washington, DC on Thursday, 7th March 2024.

Riley said that the border crisis caused by President Biden is a disgrace. She added that it was almost entirely preventable. She said, “President Biden mentioned her name and refused to take responsibility for his actions. But it was enough.”

Britt said that Biden’s failures on the border “didn’t stop” there, and then moved to rising costs and the economy. She claimed, “The American people barely scraped by.”

He said: “We know better.”

Britt criticized Democrats’ crime policy and progressives who called for defunding police. She then lashed out at Biden for making us “a joke in the world,” citing rising global chaos.

The enemies of freedom see an opportunity.

“Right now, our Commander in Chief is not in control. There is no need for a leader who is dithering. America needs leaders who understand the importance of securing borders, stable prices, safe streets, and a strong defense as cornerstones to a great nation.”

Britt said that although the country is at a crossroads, it doesn’t have to be.

It’s a feeling we all share. But here’s the good news: we still have the power to change things. ”

Britt grew up in Enterprise, Alabama. She worked previously as chief of staff to now-retired GOP Alabama senator Richard Shelby, and then as President and CEO of the Business Council of Alabama.

In November 2022, she won the general election after defeating Republican Rep. Mo Brooks in the Alabama Senate Primary.

Britt backed former President Donald Trump. She wrote in an opinion piece for Yellowhammer News, that “the results are clear” of his leadership as the 45th President of the United States after having lived with the policies of Biden’s administration.
