On August 28th, a group of illegal immigrants attempted to hijack a California bus picking up students.

Fox 5 San Diego reported school district officials in San Diego stating that a group of approximately 20 illegals attempted to enter a California Bus with children on the previous day after three men tried the same. This incident occurred at a Jamul Dulzura Union School District bus stop in San Diego.

The news of the continuing crisis with illegal migrants on the southern border is shocking.

Liz Bystedt is the Superintendent of Schools for the District A and B Bus Routes. She sent a note to parents explaining that illegals were walking along Highway 94 when the buses tried to stop.

The first incident happened on the afternoon of the 27th, along Route A near the intersections with Highway 94 & Cochera Via. The driver had to “go around” the men.

The next morning, parents helped stop a group consisting of 20 illegals boarding a Route B bus. Parents were present to keep their children safe from illegals.

The San Diego County Sheriff’s Department notified the California Highway Patrol, U.S. Border Patrol, and the U.S. Border Patrol of the incidents.

Bystedt wrote in her letter to parents that they should “please remain [vigilant]”. If a bus is passing by, please follow it and pick up your child at the next stop.

The superintendent said that as the investigation proceeds, the bus drivers would be instructed to “for the safety of both students and the drivers” avoid stopping at any stops where migrants could be present.

Kimberly King, the director of media relations at the San Diego County Sheriff’s Department. She told FOX 5 San Diego they were investigating to determine if a criminal act had occurred.

She said, “The Sheriff’s Office works closely with the school district and is concerned about the safety of students and the community.”

Nicole Cardinale told FOX 5 San Diego that it was “really scary” for her son to be in such a situation.

She said: “[My son] said that these adults weren’t kids. They were carrying backpacks, and tried to board [his bus ]….]. He said that there were many. ”

Assembly Bill 1840, a bill controlled by Democrats in the California state legislature, is about to be passed. This bill will extend the “California Dream for All” which offers illegals a 20% downpayment for homes up to $150,000.

As the November elections approach, the controversy surrounding the bill intensifies. The Biden-Harris Administration allowed illegal immigrants to enter America for almost four years without much border enforcement.

Gavin Newsom is ambiguous about his support for the bill. He has not yet stated whether he intends to sign it into law.
