Insiders claim that President Joe Biden won’t accept the invitation to King Charles III’s coronation in May. Biden insiders say that he is too old to travel across the Atlantic to attend the ceremony.

According to insiders, Biden will be attending an event in Northern Ireland this month. However, he will not likely visit London for the coronation. The president’s aides, however, are “cautious” about Biden’s foreign trips to avoid exhaustion which could impact his ability to perform his duties in the country.

Biden, despite being said to be unable to travel abroad, is expected to announce his candidacy for the 2024 presidency and will also travel to Japan next month for the G7 summit.

“The man is 80. According to a source, they space out his large bursts of activity quite well,” the source explained to the British broadsheet. They did the same thing with Trump when he was younger. We didn’t get much from Biden in the 48 hours following his State of the Union speech. They don’t like pushing him around the globe too much.

According to reports, officials in Washington and London stressed that Mr. Biden had not yet decided whether he would attend. Officials in Washington and London also said that Mr. Biden’s decision not to attend should not be taken as an insult to the British monarchy. However, many Royal analysts and commentators will likely interpret it as such.

Biden, who was eight years older than Donald Trump at the time he took office, is the oldest person to hold the presidency. He will be 86 years when he retires in 2028 if he runs for another term as president, wins reelection, and finishes a second term.

While the White House has not confirmed that the 80-year-old president will be attending the Coronation, it has denied any allegations that his age might have been a reason for his absence. Biden attended the September funeral of Queen Elizabeth II.

Biden’s age is a sensitive issue at the White House. However, his staff tries to avoid long travel whenever possible. Biden also has participated in fewer White House press conferences and media interviews than his predecessors.

Another reason Biden could use to hide was Dwight D. Eisenhower’s presidency at the time of Queen Elizabeth’s coronation, in 1953. He sent a delegation but did not attend the ceremony due to fears that his presence might have overshadowed Elizabeth’s ascension to the throne. Biden could send Jill, his wife, to the coronation.

Piers Morgan, a British commentator, was not impressed by Biden’s snub. He described it as a “huge event in British history” that Trump would likely have attended.

Biden’s fitness and health for the job are a subject of intense public debate. Many people suggest that he may be suffering from early-onset dementia. Kevin O’Connor, a White House doctor, confirmed that Biden had a skin cancerous lesion removed in March as part of routine health screenings.

O’Connor stated that all cancerous tissue had been successfully removed in a White House memo. He also said that no additional treatment would be necessary. O’Connor stated that the biopsy site had “healed nicely.”
