Podcast king Joe Rogan offered his support for Elon Musk, the Tesla CEO, as he continues his fight to overtake Twitter.

Musk’s purchase of a 9% share of Twitter, Inc. has triggered a cultural storm. This was followed by an offer to acquire the company for $43Billion. Musk declined a seat on Twitter’s board of directors, which adopted a “poison tablet” to stop his efforts.

Musk’s efforts to make Twitter a truly free speech platform have been praised by conservatives, while legacy media members have condemned the prospect of the outspoken billionaire buying the tech giant. They advocate for content moderation which Musk backers claim is censorship.

Rogan suggested that Musk was one of the “powerful leaders” Americans look to for guidance on Saturday’s episode of “The Joe Rogan Show.”

Rogan stated, “That’s why everyone is so excited Elon Musk wants to buy Twitter,” Rogan added. “We’re like, ‘Yes! “The great one!”

The podcast host said that he was a super-intelligent leader character who also seems to have great ethics. He seems to be a guy you would like to see in a movie. The movie character was a super billionaire who didn’t care a f —,, but he was super smart and really, genuinely trying to save humanity.

“We live in an age where Twitter is now the public square. Maher stated earlier this month that denying someone the right to use Twitter for their speech is basically saying that you don’t have freedom of speech rights. “We don’t live in 1980 anymore. Social media has made this a new world. Social media is a… It’s living in a space which is not exactly a publication but not necessarily a private company… That’s what makes it so difficult.”

Members of the legacy media had an emotional meltdown about Musk’s latest ambition.

The staff at The Washington Post are among the most vocal, and they are owned by Jeff Bezos, a fellow billionaire.
