Information that we have already heard regarding the second attempt to assassinate former President Donald Trump is troubling.
Unbelievably, a Secret Service agent was able to stop the alleged criminal by shooting him. A witness then saw the suspect and took his license plate.
How did the guy get so close? As we said, he supposedly waited in his nest, for 12 hours, before he got that close. Why hadn’t they seen him earlier?
There’s now more information about what happened from new whistleblowers. One must be shouting from the rooftops at this point that something is very wrong with this security coverage.
On Wednesday night, Sen. Josh Hawley appeared on Jesse Watters’s show on Fox. Hawley said that whistleblowers claimed that the Secret Service guarded the golf course in the past “many times.”
BREAKING: Whistleblowers tell Senator Josh Hawley that “it’s not even clear Secret Service swept the perimeter before Trump took to the course.”
That’s a massive and inexcusable failure.
But that’s just the beginning of the problems that unfolded. Whistleblowers also revealed… pic.twitter.com/XyDJDWVY1a

A whistleblower said that protocol dictates they place agents in the vulnerable areas around the course. They’ve been doing it for years.
Yet they didn’t this time, as the suspect lay in wait.
Hawley claimed that whistleblowers told Hawley, “That’s odd.” It’s not in line with protocol.
Hawley stated, “It’s not clear Secret Service had swept the perimeter before Trump took the course. They would have likely found the suspect if they had”.
Hawley stated that this was a violation of protocol and whistleblowers wanted to know what happened. “The Secret Service should give us answers.”
Consider that for a second. It is a protocol to check around the perimeter. It is a protocol to place people in those vulnerable areas. They are aware of the vulnerable spots. But somehow, in this case, where a suspect is waiting, they ignore all protocols. The suspect knew Trump was going to be there even though it wasn’t on his schedule.
How can you do that and not secure a roof in Butler with a direct view of Trump?
Rep. Mike Waltz, R-FL, said that the Secret Service acting director, Ronald Rowe told members of Congress that Joe Biden had ordered Trump to receive the same level of protection as Biden. Waltz noted that this was not the case on the day of the second try at the golf club. What was the situation?
The Secret Service still has not provided the Congress with the requested documents.
Secret Service is stonewalling: it’s been over 2 months since the Butler assassination attempt

You can’t help but think that this is more than just a simple case of dropping the ball.
It is alarming to think that we cannot trust Trump’s security in the future.
