James Clyburn, House Majority Whip (D-SC), revealed Wednesday that he has a breakthrough Chinese coronavirus case. This means that he contracted it despite having been vaccinated. He used the opportunity to warn Americans about the dangers of the disease.
“Tonight, I received my positive COVID-19 test. He said that this is a rare case and that he is asymptomatic. He warned that “No one is immune” and encouraged Americans to get vaccinated as well as boosted.
Clyburn, who made an appearance on MSNBC in support of President Biden, begged Americans to have their blood tested.
“I have been tested. I’ve been vaccinated. I have the booster. Experts say that if you have the vaccines and the booster, this virus is similar to a common cold.” He said.
This is not the first major breakthrough case of the virus. Maryland Governor Larry Hogan (R) revealed that he contracted the virus despite being vaccinated. Larry Hogan (R), also disclosed that he contracted the virus, despite having been vaccinated. He also used the opportunity to encourage others to get the vaccines.
