The man accused of plotting to assassinate Donald Trump during his Coachella rally in California posted a nearly 18-minute video on social media and denied any plans to kill the GOP nominee.
The story keeps getting more bizarre:
Vem Miller, 49 said that he reported to the authorities his guns, which he said he always carries despite not using them. He did this at a checkpoint on Saturday night to enter Trump’s Coachella event and claimed documents Riverside County Sheriff Chaanco had said were fakes were legitimate.
After two failed assassination efforts on Trump in July, his arrest on gun charges caused speculation. He was released quickly on $5,000 bail, and no federal charges were filed.
In a telephone interview with Fox News Digital, Miller said: “I travel around always with my firearms on the back of my pickup truck.”
JUST IN: Vem Miller, the man accused of a so-called “third Trump assassination attempt” denies these reports and pushes back in a statement released online.

He also says that he informed officers that he had loaded guns in his trunk. He also threatens to sue over defamatory remarks and an alleged violation of his rights by police.
Miller’s story, which was already bizarre, became even stranger when he said that he had never fired the guns possessed by him.
He claims he never fired the men but began keeping them when he received death threats.
Miller stated, “I have never shot a firearm in my entire life.”
“I know nothing about guns.” “I am far from a novice,” said the man.
Miller has worked in the media for 30 years, starting after he graduated from high school. Miller has worked with major artists on TV shows and music videos, and he launched America Happens Network in order to fight “censorship” within the media. Miller said that he received death threats while working for Fox. He also purchased firearms.
He claimed that, despite reports that he had been there to kill former President Bush, he’s a Trump fan.
Miller stated, “Yes, I am 100% a Trump Supporter” and added that he was “all in” by 2018.
He denied that his documents were false, saying that there was a mistake.
Miller said that none of the fake passports or IDs in his car were fakes when he was asked.
He says that none of the IDs and passes he had were fakes.
Miller claims to be Armenian, and he has documents with his full Armenian name and others without, as using these documents in certain places could lead to him being killed. Miller is referring to the campaigns that have been conducted over the years to kill Armenians.
Miller has been near political figures on several occasions.
Vem Miller, who was caught with multiple illegal firearms and fake press passes just feet away from Trump’s Coachella rally in an alleged a*sassination attempt, has already been released on a $5K bail.
What’s more alarming is that Miller was recently seen in close proximity to… pic.twitter.com/ZKyz1NdYg7
