The Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals clarified who was eligible to vote in the upcoming 2024 elections. Arizona was the focus of a decision that was made Thursday afternoon. It was filed by the Arizona Republican Party and State Senate President Warren Petersen against Mi Familia Vota, Arizona Secretary Adrian Fontes, and other parties.
The Republican Caucus of the State Senate reacted by calling X a big win for electoral integrity.

Today, the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals ruled in favor of election integrity! Arizona voters who do not provide proof of citizenship will be denied the right to vote.
Petersen said:
“We are grateful that the court upheld the provision of our laws. Now it’s time for Congress to take action and ensure that only U.S. citizens are allowed to vote in federal elections. ”
