Project Veritas has released a new video that might convince you otherwise. Undercover journalist exposes Greenwich Elementary School Assistant Principal Jeremy Boland confessing to being discriminatory against Catholics, getting annoyed by parents, and refusing to hire older teachers due to their “rigid” nature. It’s shocking stuff.
This video confirms what we fear most about the school’s classroom culture. Boland, the teacher-hire coordinator at the public Cos Cob Elementary school, freely admits that his job is to promote Democratic ideals among the children.
Boland: They’re teaching them how to think. That’s it. It doesn’t really matter what they think. It doesn’t matter what they think. If they approach it in a rational, progressive manner, this becomes their routine.
Veritas Journalist – So, you sort of like, gear them towards thinking in a more liberal manner?
Boland: Mm-hmm. Boland: Mm-hmm.
Although he’s just starting, he doesn’t have any reservations about his religious discrimination in hiring.
Boland: Although I don’t know much about religion, the Bolands are most likely the most liberal Protestants in Connecticut. If they are Catholic, or conservative.
Veritas Journalist – What do you do about the Catholics? What do you do if someone is Catholic?
Boland: They don’t get hired.
Veritas Journalist – Would you hire a Catholic?
Boland: I don’t think so. Their mindset is unchangeable. They are stuck and rigid when you ask them to look at something new or to see if they have a different opportunity.
Are you not Catholic? He won’t discriminate against anyone if they don’t consider you to be Catholic.
Boland: I need younger [teachers]. Because Greenwich is a very good place to teach, teachers from other areas who have been teaching there for a while, and want to move to Greenwich, are available. If they are older, I cannot do that. I simply don’t allow them to tell me, ‘I’m no longer interviewing you because your age is too high. For one job, we had about 30 applicants. So, out of all the applicants, I didn’t interview any over 30 years old. This is because sometimes, the older you become, the more rigid you are.
James O’Keefe, a journalist, founded the non-profit Project Veritas in 2010. He has discovered some shocking details in its history. They were raided by FBI agents after they illegally obtained Ashley Biden’s diary during the politicized Attorney General Merrick Garland.
O’Keefe claims in the video that Boland is responsible for 360 students and “disregards state regulations” with his discriminatory hiring practices. It’s not only teachers that the hyper-politicized educator wants, but parents as well.
Boland: It’s hard to get past my parents.
Veritas Journalist: How do you define it?
Boland: The parents feel that it is their responsibility to create schools which in turn shape the children. Because I cannot get past the parents, can I have as much influence on the children as I want? I do my best.
Boland asks the interviewer a rhetorical question. “Do we work for parents or for the child?” He replies, “We work to the child.” Boland continues by saying that he wouldn’t hire a conservative. If you apply for a job, you have to support the trans movement fully or you’re out.
Project Veritas’ video clearly caused concern. Boland is currently being investigated by Greenwich Public Schools.

“We don’t support any opinions that encourage discriminatory hiring practices based upon race, religion, gender or age.” The superintendent sent an email Wednesday.
Boland has a lot more to say, but the majority of his comments are in the same vein. I don’t know what he was thinking as he brazenly and blatantly discussed Connecticut’s discrimination statutes. Did he want to impress the female interviewer with his smug, blatantly described violations of Connecticut discrimination statutes? Is he feeling that he is above the law and can say what he likes? His bigotry and intent to indoctrinate students with Leftist ideology are shocking. This is why so many parents are afraid to send their children to school.
